Whitney Cummings is a Los Angeles based comedian, actor, writer and producer. This fall Cummings stars in, writes and executive produces her autobiographical sitcom “Whitney.” Cummings also co-created and co-wrote, along with Michael Patrick King, the CBS comedy “Two Broke Girls” starring Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs.

Last year Cummings’ hour long Comedy Central Stand Up Special “Money Shot” was nominated for an American Comedy Award.

As a comedian Cummings appears regularly on E!’s “Chelsea Lately” and Comedy Central’s “Comedy Central Roasts.”

Recently, Cummings was named one of VARIETY’s “10 Scribes to Watch.” In 2010 Ben Stiller presented Cummings with the “Comedian of the Year Award” at the Young Hollywood Awards. In 2009 Cummings was honored as one of ENTERTIANMENT WEEKLY’s “Comedy Stars of Tomorrow” and was named one of VARIETY’s “Top 10 Comics to Watch” in 2007.

Cummings graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Pennsylvania, after which she got her start starring as a series regular on MTV’s “Punk’d.”
