Third Street Bar’s Open Mic Comedy Night hosted by Wayne Walsh was tres magnifique this week (5/9/12)! Jym Bettencourt revealed his true French roots, Smitty finally got on stage, and there was a little figurative midget tossing! Aaron Boigon rocked his feature set… and when it came down to voting, Smitty nearly took the crowd’s vote, but the other comics came through in the end for Alyssa Cowan. This week’s (3/28/12) Open Mic Comedy night at 3rd Street Bar (hosted by Wayne Walsh) had lots of unusual stuff go down! All kinds of people went up… including a few people from Lake Tahoe/Truckee and Matt Lewis all the way from Los Angeles. And Danwise rocked his feature set. We had audience members come in all the way from Elko… Sean Connors went on a rant about how chemo makes you puke in weird places… and when it came time to vote, half the comics bailed.
